question
Hi,
I have been dealing with a bit of an eating disorder for some time now. I am not deathly thin, or starve myself completly, and i have stopped vometing after meals. But, i have not had my period in 3 months. By not having my period, does that mean i am still not at my normal weight? And by having these missed periods, am i going to screw up the possibility of me having children later on in life?? I just turned 16 and very worried and curious. Im not over the disorder, but really trying to get better. How will missed periods and this stuff effect me 10 years from now?? Thank you very very much!!
Mackenzie

When you reach your normal weight, your periods will come back. I have had anorectic patients who got children later on when they recovered.
