Just have a question- my husband is self employed and works at home.. he doesn't emply anyone but does have friends that stop by while he is working- the question I have is- is that the gys come over and they bring beer, hubby lets them bring it, and he also drinks it.
The other night he got a little loaded- and asked why I was upset and I told him it was because his priorities always seem to be the guys and the booze..
he got very defensive - yelling and hollering and slamming the doors- he says I need to change- when I'm the one that works all day- away from home- and not drinking on the job- I have told him that this can't be good when customers come for bids.. any ideas

It is very serious when you husband drinks when it is time to work. If he does not understand how dangerous it is, it is even worse. Do you want to live with an alcoholic?

There are groups for family members of alcoholics, for example arranged by AA. You might get help in such a group.
