Your mother in law is mentally ill. Medicine could improve her mental health. But you need someone to give her the medicine. Would it be easier for your husband to give her the medicine she needs? If she doesn't take it, it will not have any effect. The best way is if she can take the medicine without force. Is there anyone she would trust? Would she trust a doctor or a nurse?
