Can sex addiction lead to sexual assault? If someone near me is a sex addict who seems to focus on violent and sadistic sex fantasies what other signs would there be that the addiction could lead to rape or other kinds of sexual assault? In other words could I or someone else be in physical danger?

Just having those fantasies does not make a person dangerous, but if the person has a history of violence, there is a large risk that it will happen again.
