Greetings -

I am not quite sure how to frame this problem as it's so new to me, but I will try.
About a week ago I stepped outside to grab a quick smoke. I was standing there feeling fine (fine for me at least) when I looked on the ground to my left. There some land-scaping rocks up against the house and they were half frozen in the ice on the ground. I immediately got these images in my head of black hard things shaped kind of like these rocks, sitting in rotting holes on my arms and face. I didn't actually see them on my arms and face, but that thought just popped into my head. Ever since then, I cannot get these horrible images from my head, and I cannot look at anything that has holes in it because it amplifies these thoughts. It's getting bad and I am obsessing with these images.
Now there are other materials I can't look at like the plastic carpet outside of my door (it reminds me of super thick hair growing out of cracked skin).
Even writing this is very very hard.
I have been suffering from pretty bad anxiety for many mnay years and depression for almost as long. I have no money and no health insurance so I can't go see a doctor about this. If the images get any worse I don't see how I will be able to stand it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Obsessions can be treated effectively with Prozac, usually 80 mg per day. But you need to see a psychiatrist, who can make a correct diagnosis. The medicine dosage has to be increased step-wise, and the effect may not show until several weeks after the full dosage was achieved.
