I need advice...I don't know what to think anymore. My husband is 48 and worked for a company 16 years. About 8 years ago (he works at home) he started drinking. He would quit work about 4:00 and from then on until he passed out, would sit on the deck and drink. He decided he was going to retire so he did and has been retired for about 2 1/2 months. He has never been one to "do the woman's work", and even before drinking really didn't do anything around the house to help, but for 2 1/2 months he has done nothing, except drink. He goes through 3.5 liters in about 3 to 4 days. Last night I ask how could he just sit around and do absolutely nothing and he jumped on me about how I could not understand, he had worked as bread winner for 30 years with everyone depending on him for everything. Excuse me but I have worked since I was 16 and most of the time work a part time job too. I really do not have to depend on him... When I say he does nothing...I do mean nothing.... His idea of doing something major is balancing check book or going to Walmart for contact solution... The attidute he has bothers me most because he acts like he is so important and what I do doesn't contribute to anything important. I've paid all utilities, groceries, cable, etc for 15 years, so at this point I'm mad, but I just don't understand.... Please help...Thanks,
Debbie
