I don't know what to do?. My partner is jealous and thinks that i am about to leave for for another woman. We have been together for 4 years and I love my partner very much, but she has fierce mood swings where she becomes obssessed that I am about to be unfaithful to her. She says that she has to worry about everything, so that when bad things happen, she is prepared for it. I have tried to tell her that trust is very important and that jealousy is a very destructive emotion, but she cannot stop herself from feeling this way about every female i come into contact with at work or school. It has caused problems when going to parties because she makes a scene or throws angry glances towards women that I make conversation to. It has come to the point where I must not tell her that I have spoken to a female friend because she gets so angry.I know that she suffers from a great deal of insecurity and used to avoid looking at people when she was younger. i want so much to spend the rest of my life with her, but sometimes feel that she is bent on destroying everything that is good.

Your partner needs treatment. Her behavior will destroy your relationship if she does not change. Ask her to see a psychotherapist or go to family counseling.
