My wife aged 49 is a bipolar patient. Her main symptom is suspicion on me - that is she doubts I have connection with other ladies. Any place I reside (I changed 4 places now) she doubt me about a particular lady known to her. She quarrels, shouts, says abusing words when I am a little angry she comes to attack me. She is moving things from one place to other, destroys some items, says lie, steel money, speak fast and not allow others tot talk etc. are synptoms. She is normally calm and quiet type. Thrice she had been adimitted in hospital when violent. Goven Injection and tabs. She is not wiling to take medicines. For some days after hospitalization she will take medicine then stops and after some time again the same symptoms appear.
Could you please suggest a medicine. Now she has diabetics. She is taking medicine for that correctly.
Treatment of bipolar disorder must be done in close cooperation with her psychiatrist. If she cannot take responsibility för her medication, then either you or the hospital need to take over until she is recovered enough to act responsibly.
