Okay, I'm not sure what subject this lies in but here it goes: My brother he lives abroad by himself. He first moved abroad because of my father's inability to raise him properly. Our parents used to argue constantly about the past, times before we were all born and that would affect me and my siblings' daily lives. My fathers constant yelling and mood swings would scare us and would lead to abuse as well as depression. After a few years, my father has been treated for bipolar and is much better, but my brother now hears voices in his head that are extremely loud of my parents' constant quarreling. Can you please give me advice as to what step I should take in helping my brother? Thanks.
Your brother needs to be examined by a psychiatrist. If he suffers from schizophrenia, he can get medicine that takes away the voices. He may also need psychotherapy to talk about his childhood. You can help him by being his friend and listen to him.
