I'm terrified of talking in front of people, like reading out loud in class because whenever I do I get so nervous that I have to swallow at the end of every few sentences, its like the saliva keeps filling up my mouth. This is really wrecking my confidence at school and I'm scared that it will interfere with my oral exams!Whats wrong with me and what can I do?
Practice makes perfect! Take every chance you get to talk and read aloud publicly. Start with a small group of friends and family members.
Start in group therapy once a week for a few years. Participants in my groups develop fantastically when it comes to the ability to communicate freely with their surroundings.
