HIV (virus that can lead to AIDS) is not transmitted 100% of the time, so it is polisbse that you do not have it. However, it is also polisbse for someone to be infected by having sex with an infected person only ONCE. You should get tested. More than 98% of people who have HIV would test positive within 3 months. In very rare cases, it could take up to 6 months for someone to test positive. The standard recommendation is to get tested 3 months after polisbse exposure, then get retested 3 months later. Don't have sex with anyone else until you know for sure that you are not infected. Once someone is infected, they can pass the virus to others, even before they test positive themselves, and long before they have symptoms. You can check the website hivtest.org to find free testing sites in your area. Just enter your ZIP code.BTW: It is a crime for someone who knows he has HIV to have unprotected sex with another person without telling the person about the infection first.
