question
Hi I am a female and my boyfriend of 1 year has just told me that lately he has been struggling with the idea that he thinks he might be gay. He said the thought crossed his mind when he was 20, he is now 25, an ending his last relationship. Currently we were also ending ours but decided to stay and work things out. He's no sure if it has something to do with the possible break up, or the fact that he was sexually abused/ raped as
a child. He says feels no sexual attraction to the same sex or fantasizes about men. Yet he is afraid he might be gay or as we commit to a future together he is afraid he will "become" gay later on. He says this is not want he wants, (to be gay) that he wants to be straight but that he is afraid he is denying something to himself now and later on it will come back. I feel like he us suffering some sort of sexual
Identity crisis from past sexual abuse & he said be4 I mentioned it he never considered that it could be a factor but is willing to get professional help. Im not sure What i should do? I obviously dont want to stay in the relationship if he is potentially gay. As far as oursex life goes it is very healthy and he very much desires me which is why I don't think he is gay.
