Okay, so I am 16, and i have been friends secretly with one of my sister's friends for 3 years (she's 13). After 2 years of being friends, we really wanted to be more than that, but we knew our parents wouldn't approve, at least until we were in high school for sure. So, we secretly dated for a year, and our parents just found out. She's not in high school yet either. So, her parents just said they were ashamed of her, but mine took EVERYTHING. My texting,money, car. Grounded me for a month, deleted over half of my pictures (even the ones not having to do with "her"), and wont let her come over even to hang out with my sis anymore. They don't think the age difference is acceptable at all. None of my friends think its a big deal, and neither do hers. They think its a bit odd, but I mean... we love each other! They all are super supportive of us :) but our parents aren't. I don't know what to do. I haven't talked to her in a month now and I've fallen into depression. I've been wanting to cut, but I promised her I wouldn't. I just need a way to be with her. I guess I want to know if people agree with my hypocritical parents (my dad had a gf with the same age difference in high school), or me and my girlfriend.
