My boyfriend was being friendly with an industry colleague of his. This girl relocated in Chennai for work, where she was not getting used to food habits of Chennai, my boyfriend, showed concern and asked her to get back to kolkata. I knew nothing about all this, the concerned girl, chats with me and tells me that she and my boyfriend is deeply in love with each other. My boyfriend cannot marry her because he cannot break the relationship with me, because he is committed to me and because he does not want to hurt me. When I asked him to sever ties with her, he was reluctant and said that he will stand by her and bring her back to normal self. He said that he likes the attention he gets, the mushy text messages that she sends, and that he likes her and is fond of her hence cannot be rude with her. He is always defensive about this girl. At the same time tells me that he loves me and wants to marry me. If you were in my place how would you have reacted? I am very upset, when I try talking things out with him, he fails to understand me and I loose my cool and start shouting at him. Then he tells me that because I shout at him he does not feel like telling me anything, hence does not confide in me. If I tell him that am very upset, he tells me that I am upset because I want to be upset but actually there is no reason whatsoever to be upset about anything.
