Re: my husband wants another dog

My husband, daughter and I adopted a dog about 4yrs ago from the spca. Now they want to get another dog for her protection( they say). We have a good dog, house alarm and she is only home 1hr /day after school by herself till I get home. My mother=in-law lives down the street. She could go home with her or a friend or do after school stuff. I am big time allergic to animals. I have always allowed them one dog. We have a small home and I constantly clean. I cannot have a dog out in the summer heat in Florida. It is cruel. They are just offering that solution knowing I can't leave an animal to suffer. I feel I have been fair enough in adopting a dog at a time. If I had a bigger house/yard, I would consider another dog, but right now, it's all I can do with my asthma and allergies to have 1 dog at a time. This is becoming a big deal in my marriage. Please help me negotiate this the right way. I am running out of energy fighting this battle. Thanks

Perhaps the dog can live by your mother-in-law. Living food can be very helpful to cure asthma and allergies.
