I have been seperated from my husband for 4 months now and is getting divorced. I met a new friend about two months ago and stay 300km from me. We do see each other some time when the kids go to their dad. The last time i went there my one son went with me, but the other one went to a friend for a sleepover. I really do like this guy, but every time he phones me my one son gets upset with me and he gets very rude. My friend is coming to visit me soon but now my son threatens me that he will walk away from home and will not stay in the house if my friend comes here. I did try to speak to him. He is 12 years old and makes it very difficult for me, I feel depressed and I do not know how to handle my son any more. I feel that he manipulates me. How do I handle him? I do tell them often I love them, I take them to the movies, to play ten pin bowling and spend time with them. I even bought a few golf clubs to start something new that we can do together. It just feel that I dont have any privacy and that he wants to tell me what to do. I can not go to the shop alone without answering all his questions.
