question
Hello,

I am a 26 yearld old virgin female and I have been not been able to have sex with my boyfriend. We have been together for 8 years and have tried numerous amount of times to have intercourse but just when it is about to happen I get very scarred and cannot go through with it.I start to get very nervous and also get extremely scarred that I am unable to go through with it. I start getting this horrible feeling in my chest and I start thinking to myself... is the pain from the penetration gonna be unbearable?... am I gonna hate it so much that I will not want to have sex again? On the other hand, I have no problem with engaging in oral sex and can get an orgasm from it. The thing that scarres me is the actual penetration process. This problem has gotten really bad, every night I fake that I am not feeling well or that I am tired so that my boyfriend will not ask me to try to have sex. He has been understanding but I am afraid that if this goes on my relationship will not last. Please help...

Contact a gynecologist. A minor surgery can prevent you from feeling pain during your first intercourse. Also use lubrication gel from the pharmacy. But you can have great sex without intercourse. Ask your boyfriend about his opinion.
