question
Hi

My girlfriend is also attracted to women and has had two threesomes before we started going out. I am fairly conservative in this regard and in particular,my girlfriend is the only person I have chosen to sleep with, as I feel that sexual relationships are sacred and involving others in that bond erodes its meaning. We are in love and the relationship could potentially lead to marriage.

Of course, I have no right to judge her for having been promiscious in the past, her commitment to me does not apply retroactively :) But her bisexuality bothers me a lot, although I do respect her views with regards to sex. In particular, the thought of her ingageing in a threesome makes me feel physically nautious. I really love her and am trying to get over this.

Could you offer me some advice?
Thanks

A lot of married people are attracted to others, but they stay with their partner anyway as they do not want to ruin their marriage. I also met a man who was married to a bisexual women. He accepted her having affairs with women, but not with other men. You and your girlfriend need to talk and find a solution that is acceptable to both of you.

Lovers should not be too open about their former experiences. A cognitive psychotherapist can help you to overcome your feelings of disgust. The secret is to feel your feelings over and over again until they disappear.
