question
Hi

I was on Xanor for 13 years prescribed by the Army and no one told me it was highly addictive.
Went into rehab in 2004 and my life has been a mess since then.
Question:

Is the after effects of Xanor so devastating that it can do this to a person. I cross addicted to Alchol during the withdrawal process and this also shocked me.

My dosage of Xanor was 1 a day but for 13 years I medicated myself as to how I felt.

The doctor would give me 6 months of the medication at a time.

My time in REHAB was hell as no one in South Africa seemed to know what the effect was going to be and still no one knows.

How do I gain my life back and become a normal member of society like I was when I was taking Xanor?

Regards

Most people do get over the abstinence symptoms eventually, but it may take a year or more.

Read more about Xanor withdrawal.
