question
I am a 39 year old female married to a male that suffers from PPD. Initially, I thought he had a anger problem. After much research, I've found that he fits the critera for PPD. Please give me some advice on getting him to seek counseling. He does not think he has a problem. He blames me and my children for everything. He has recently told me that I've changed him and that he didn't use to act in the fashion that he does and it's my fault. He says it's only with me. I told him that agree to some extent because he acts really nice and tries to be perfect around everyone else. My children and I experience all the negativity from him. I'm scared my 6 year old will become like him. My other two children are from a previous marriage. I've told him that WE need counseling for our marriage in hopes that he didn't think its for us and not just him. I am very unhappy and I don't know what to do. Please help.
